Beach & Pier Area Information for Tahoe Park

Beach Area

  1. Please do not feed the geese.
  2. Boats are not allowed to use the beach area for loading, unloading or beaching at any time.
  3. Members are requested to help keep the beach clean and remove all garbage.
  4. Swimmers should swim at their own risk. No life guards are on duty.
  5. A swimming area is provided between piers, separating boats & swimmers.

Piers

bulletThe piers are for access to boats, swimming, fishing and sunbathers.
bulletSunbathers should insure they do not block access to others.
bulletDiving and horseplay is not permitted.
bulletBoaters use of the piers is for loading and unloading only. Boats are not to be left unattended.

Picnic Tables

The Association has picnic tables located throughout the park which are available on a reservation basis. Beginning Mid June , the beach is officially staffed & reservations for tables can be made on-site daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Prior to Mid June, reservations can be made by calling the On-Site Manager, at (530) 583-3820.

Individuals may reserve up to three tables at a time no more than 30 days in advance. Large groups may reserve as many as five tables at the far north end of the beach or four tables around the children's playground. July 4th picnic table reservations will be available from either 10:00 am - 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm. In order to accommodate as many members as possible, reservations may only be made for one day and one time frame.

bulletOn July 4th, additional folding tables & chairs will be set up for use on a first come, first serve basis.
bulletReservations will only be held for one hour after the reserved time.
bulletIf the party doesn't show, the table will be reassigned by the beach staff.
bulletCancellations - members are asked to cancel their reservations if they do not plan to use the table
bulletThank you in advance for your courtesy.
